Alternate EXE Packer is an application that packs executable files (EXE) and DLL-files in that way, that they unpack themselves at runtime.

How to use this

At first select the executable files (or DLLs) that you want to pack (using the open buttons or the menu file->open). The selected files will now appear in the file list. If you want to remove all or some of the files, use the edit menu.

Pack:
Press the compress-button. The file list will be empty after that, which means the packing progress is started as background task (this will not take much time).

Unpack:
Press the decompress-button. The progress is started as background task, too.
HINT: Unpack only works on packed files.
