Anagram Artist is designed to be a very impressive package that will incorporates many features, such as a suggested word list, word filters, a synonym finder, a built-in anagram generator and many other useful extras.

Anagram Artist is an all-in-one tool designed for medium-to-long anagramming. As you type, the program continually offers a list of suggested words (sorted by how well they bring the unused letters into alignment with the ideal English letter frequencies). There is also a visual and numeric display of the letters remaining and of the proportion of vowels.

Anagram Artist supports parts of speech (so you can ask for only adjectives, for example), and has a rhyme finder to facilitate the construction of anagrammed poetry.

When you get to the last 25 letters a built-in anagram generator is available. This, in combination with the suggested word list and filters, makes Anagram Artist a powerful tool for finding short anagrams as well.

· satisfy any of a dozen or so additional constraints
· Continuous updates - just type your anagram, and all displays, including suggested words, are automatically updated.
· Special "tweak" mode that lets you massage a partly-complete anagram to make the rest of it easier to complete.
· New (as of version 3.0) "free" mode which breaks free of anagramming entirely and allows Anagram Artist to be used for generic constrained writing and other tasks, such as composing or solving crossword puzzles.
· Multi-word anagram finder for sets of up to 25 letters - either for mopping up the last few letters when doing a long anagram, or working on short anagrams.
· File load and save, with "=" automatically added during save and removed during load.
· Functions to copy unused letters, or completed anagram, to clipboard.
· FIND function for both original and anagram windows.
· Ability to use any installed system font for the three main text windows, with a special font (Salem) included especially for use in cramming a lot of words into the output window.
· No limit (other than system memory) on size of anagram text.
· Includes a large dictionary with extensive auxiliary information (parts of speech, pronunciation, etc.), but you can augment or replace the dictionary with your own word list.
· Knowledge of British vs. American spelling, and an option to choose your preference.
