The backup format is a standard Zip file that can be unpacked by any compression utility. You can choose the frequency of backups and the file filtering.

BackupGenie optionally generates a log with all files backed up.

BackupGenie has an integrated scheduler to make your backup automatically start without your intervention. You can install it as a Windows XP/2000/NT or Windows Me/98/95 service to have your backups start even if no users are logged in.

BackupGenie support network, floppy, Hard drives, CD-RW (Formatted in Packet Writing Mode) and all removable hard drives (NO Tapes).

BackupGenie is full featured with many professional options. BackupGenie comes with a setup program for an easy installation.
