Better Typing 1.0 (1.0.2.2006) Description:

While the user is typing, Better Typing is analysing the typing keystrokes that the operating system is sending to the application where the user is currently writing..

User input control above the on-screen keyboard is used to show the last few words the user is currently typing. The same characters appear, of course, in the application the user is typing in. Having a copy of the typed characters above the on-screen keyboard makes typing much easier. By switching to the typewriter mode (Settings/”Typewriter mode” check box) the character last typed appears always in the middle above the on-screen keyboard. (in the same way as on an old mechanical typewriter).

The second purpose of user input control is to check spelling. It marks wrongly spelled words and provides a list with spelling suggestions. There are, of course, applications with a spell checking feature, but when you use Better Typing you will be able to check spelling in every application and always in the same way.

Now, without looking at the physical keyboard, you can: find on the on-screen keyboard the key you want to type, find on the on-screen keyboard the home row key of the same color, move your finger from the home row key to the desired key and finally press the desired key, and then return your finger to its home row key position.
