Database connectivity is all taken care of before the XML conversion begins, so you can use whatever method you prefer to get your information from the backend into XML. The whole process is remarkably simple.

· For viewing the generated PDF's, you will need a PDF viewer. Although officially we support only Acrobat 4.x and above, most viewers (including OS X Preview and GhostScript 7.x) will work, as will our own Java PDF Viewer
