Book Reporter educational software is developed to be used in the classroom to teach students computer skills, keyboarding, reading, and language arts skills in one activity. 

The program is password protected so students can only see their own reports and do not have access to the teacher's area where grades and comments are stored.

In a typical classroom, BookReporter allows the students to enter their reports into the computer. 

The teacher can then browse the reports by title, student name, or chapter.  The teacher can make comments in the report or in a separate comment area and can also grade the report.  Various printouts can be made of this information.
