ConSub 1.58 Description:

The ConSub application was designed to be a simple program which converts MicroDVD (.SUB) and SubRip (.SRT) subtitle files into 22 different subtitle formats.

Also ConSub can create your own Subtitle Formats in case your program supports a subtitle format which ConSub can't convert to. ConSub was written in pascal so it doesn't support long file names.

ConSub is so simple that even a child can use it (unless he has some real problems).
Open the program and select the input file (the file you want to convert), make sure that the file is a MicroDVD (*.SUB) or SubRip (*.SRT) subtitle file because ConSub doesn't support other subtitle formats conversion.

After you entered the input file you should enter the input file FPS (Frames Per Second), it's one of the following values:
15, 20, 23.976, 24, 25, 29.976, 30.
Now enter the output file name without the file extension, ConSub will add the file extension later. After you entered the input and the output files you will see a table with the supported conversion formats, from that table choose the subtitle format you wish to convert your input file to. To start the conversion press 's' and to exit press 'e'.
