Data Gopher application was designed to be a handy utility for quickly and easily executing SQL commands against any OleDB / ODBC compliant database.

With its tiny footprint and simple console style interface its a must have for any database administrator / developer.

Plus, the included command line version allows easy integration into any existing data process or even embedding into a notification system like Samurize.

Data Gopher requires a Connection String to open a connection to a data source. To perform a query against the active connection you simply use the QUERY or Q command, followed by your SQL query e.g.

QUERY SELECT * FROM YourTable

If the query returns a valid record set it will be displayed on screen. If the query is non record set based such as an UPDATE or DELETE, the number of rows affected will be displayed instead.
