DivX Mutator 1.1 Description:

The DivX Mutator application was designed to help you patch AVI files made with either DivX or MPEG4 codecs from Microsoft. It supports AVI files in DivX Low Motion, DivX Fast Motion and MPEG4 version 1, 2, 3.

What's the interest of such a program ? Whereas DIVX2MPEG4 program only patches a part of the header (the one used by the Windows Media Player to play the AVI video using the appropriate codec), DivX Mutator will patch the 2 parts of the header. So it will make it technically possible to merge several DivX files either in Low or Fast Motion.
