EGO 3.6 Description:

EGO is a personal desktop email server for travel and home use. The unique thing about EGO is that it links the email application and recipient's mail server directly. At just the same second as the application finishes sending the message, it is in the recipient's incoming mailbox.

Sync-Sending
· Unlike other email servers, which buffer the mails and send them later, the receiving and sending occurs simutaneously - so you can know the sending result from your email application.
Efficient and Easy to Use
· It is a Win32 application. The executable file size is only about 110K. The user interface have only four buttons and a window display server and client status
Reliable security
· By default, eGo only accepts connections from the computer on which it is running. If you allow other computers to share eGo's service, you must add that computer's IP address explicitly.
Start and Exit quickly
· It is a user mode application, not a system service. You can start it and quit it as you do with any other user mode applications, such as your email application or word processer.
