In other words every single pin created is check against the previous one. On an AMD sempron with 500MB of RAM creating 10K pins takes about 45 seconds. As more pins you create the time will multiply exponentially, since it will check every single one of them against the ones already created.

The Maximum pins you should create at any giving time should be 75 thousands, to be on the safe side. I have tested the application generating 100 thousands pins on the AMD processor. After the 80 thousands CPU utilization went up to 100%, the repeated ratio was about 0.008% and it took the system a total of 54 minutes, as you can see the creation process increase exponentially as more pins you do. The system automatically will remove any repeated pins and will generate a new one to include instead of the repeated one.
