IDAutomation Barcode ActiveX Control 7.9 Description:

IDAutomation's easy-to-use barcode ActiveX Control will create barcode images dynamically without the need of fonts. It works with any Windows application that supports ActiveX COM technology including Visual Basic 6, C++, FrontPage, Internet Explorer, Excel and Access.

Several barcode types can be created including Code 39, UPC, EAN, UCC, Code 128, ITF, and POSTNET. A 2D version is also available that supports PDF417, DataMatrix and Maxicode. Better than an OCX, IDAutomation's control is a single advanced DLL created in C++ ATL that has no dependencies.

The download includes examples for Excel, Access, Internet Explorer, VB 6 and an Image Generator example which will create barcodes that can be pasted into most any Windows application. Visual Basic source code for the image generator is also provided.

This control was designed to work precisely on low resolutions printers, like 203 DPI thermal printers or 300 DPI printers, as well as on higher resolution printers.
