The IFilter is compatible with all indexing services based on the Microsoft Search technology: Microsoft Indexing Service, Windows Desktop Search and Microsoft SharePoint Portal. JPEG IFilter extends the services capabilities to index the JPEG files (extensions JPG, JPEG, JPE, JFIF) and to perform a content search for them.
