Jackal JavaScript Debugger is a debug tool written in javascript for client-side javascript debugging. It supports runtime access to the loaded script. It will allow you to edit the functions and the variables it uses.

Jackal is totally independent from the browser which runs it. It is very easy to use with the "Mirage" Http proxy. Also this can be used without the proxy by editing the html source file of the web application that is to be debugged.
