LEDWatch 3.1 Description:

The LEDWatch application was designed to be another classic 1970's style red led watch. The display uses four numeric LEDs for the hour, minute, second and date. There are no alarms or any "fancy" functions, just a basic watch.

To install simply copy to the directory you choose and create a shortcut to the program. The main clock display will show up when you start the program.

There are two buttons located on the outer rim of the watch. The upper right will cycle between the hour and minutes, the seconds, and the date. The date is displayed in the MM DD format. The lower right exit the program.

Pressing the right mouse button, anywhere on the watch, will bring up a small options screen.

The "Display delay" is a value (in seconds) that can be increased or decreased by pressing the up and down arrow keys to the right. The delay is the amount of time that the seconds or date will display before returning back to the hour and minute display.

The "Mouse" check box is a toggle. When checked it will cause the watch to turn off the display (become idle) whenever the program loses focus. (I.e. anytime you use the mouse in any place other than the watch.) Once you click the watch with the mouse the display will re-appear but only for the amount of time in the display delay. If you want a constant display uncheck the "Mouse" feature.

The "Sound" check box is a toggle. When checked it will cause the watch to beep when
buttons are pressed. The sound uses a midi device and requires that your sound card be able to play midi sounds.

The "Military" check box will cause the watch to display in military time format. If the watch is in military mode a small red light will appear on the upper left-hand side of the red LEDs. If standard time and between noon and midnight (i.e. P.M.) the red light will appear on the upper right-hand side of the red LEDs.

The "Week" check box determines whether the day-of-the-week is displayed while the hours and minutes are shown. Each day of the week is represented by a two-character display.

The watch styel is below that where you choose either Silver or Gold for the watch. The "Help/About" button on the bottom brings up the file you are reading now. The "Set Time" button brings up the Windows Set Date/Time program to allow you to adjust the computers date and time.

The "Minimize" button will shrink the program down to the system tray. The tray icon will appear in your system tray and you can restore the full watch by right clicking on the tray icon.
