ColorFacts is an easy-to-use and useful system that will analyze and optimize the performance of video display systems.

The ColorFacts Test Patterns program is a companion to ColorFacts that is designed to assist you in adjusting settings that are not directly measurable with colorimetric measuring devices, or that are relatively easy to adjust by eye. The Test Patterns program can be run before, after or at the same time as ColorFacts, and can be accessed from within ColorFacts through the "Instruments" menu.

In general, you should set your display's contrast, brightness, color and tint before beginning measurements with ColorFacts. The images in the Test Patterns program can make adjusting these settings easier, and will prepare your display for the gains provided by the full ColorFacts calibration.

You can navigate through this Help file using the Next and Previous buttons at the bottom of each page, or can instantly access any individual topic through the Table of Contents, Index or by pressing the key on your keyboard while looking at any test pattern within the program.
