Omega Chess is a nice gadget designed to allow you to play chess with your Google Talk friends right from your desktop.

Once the gadget is loaded, you need to undock it to see a list of available players (your Google Talk friends who are currently online).

Click on the desired player to invite him/her. The opponent will receive an invitation and once accepted the game is live. The person who makes the invitation always plays White. To cancel an invitation, simply invite another player or close the game.
