Scanned Synth uses a unique new form of synthesis inspired by advances in digital music theory. It is designed to create rich complex digital tones and fantastic sound effects, while using simplifed controls and traditional synths techniques such as filters, lfo's and effects.

Scanned Synth Mini features the same synthesis engine as the one used by Scanned Synth Pro (in other words they sound the same when using the same presets) but only allows new sounds to be programmed through randomisation.

The user can set the amounts by which each group of parameters will be randomised but does not have direct access to the parameters themselves.

Scanned Synth Mini can load and save presets through the host application that are compatible with Scanned Synth Pro and vice versa. Scanned Synth Mini is capable of producing the full range of sounds that you can do witht the Pro version.

Scanned Synth Mini 1.1.2 Limitations:

· Has 3 waveforms on which its sounds can be based.
· Only gives access to the randomisation parameters.
· 15 preset sounds as opposed to 208 in the Pro version.
· Does not offer optimisation for processors with SSE and SSE2 instruction sets.
