Scrippy makes it easy to create beautiful customized e-mail stationery and web pages. Your creations may use multiple overlapping backgrounds, scrolling borders, music and much more.

Graphics:

· Recently used graphic files are listed for quick access.
· Automatic sizing of graphics in the stationery (no need to note dimensions.)
· Graphic files do not need to be in any specific directory.
· "Transparency" feature to make pictures partly see-through.

Sounds:
· Supports MID, WAV, AU, and AIFF formats. Also supports "streaming" audio formats.
· Automatic preview of sounds while browsing, including file size.
· Recently used sound files are listed for quick access.
· Adjustable volume controls.
· Can use multiple sounds in one stationery.
· Sound files do not need to be in any specific directory

Scrippy stationeries are composed of objects which you select and customize. The following objects are available:
· Background. Multiple backgrounds can be used, overlapping each other to create layered effects.
· Message. Text message and/or graphics. Full control of fonts and colors.
· Sound.
· Scrolling border. You can insert as many of these as you like, at any of the screen edges. They can move in various directions at a variety of speeds.
· Ticker. An animated text message in the status bar at the bottom of the stationery window. Lots of different animation options.
· Positioned objects. You can insert a single copy of an image, or a scrolling repeated copy, using a position based on any of the window edges or the center of the window.
· Containers. Containers are a powerful construct which can be used to create layers of "stationery within stationery". Containers allow recombination of other Scrippy objects in many different ways.
· Frames. A visible border placed around another object or group of objects.

Sending Scrippy Stationery:
· Stationery created with Scrippy can be viewed by recipients who have Outlook Express 5 or later, Outlook 98 or later, and Netscape 6.1 or later.
· Your stationery "scripts" don't get corrupted while being sent, nor do they get "dirty" after numerous uses.
· It is easy to reuse a received Scrippy stationery.
· Optionally a "loading, please wait" message displays on the recipient's screen while the stationery loads. You can customize this message.
· The sent size of your stationery is displayed while you compose it so that you can adjust messages which get too large
