The Spacestation plugin was designed to be a simulation of the Doppler Effect, which is the name given to the perceived change in frequency of a wave as the source moves relative to the listener.For audio this equates to changes in the pitch of the sound source The pitch is higher as the source approaches and lower as it moves away.
