TweakFS String Search & Replace is a simple tool that can be used to quickly and easily make wholesale string replacements to HTML (htm, html) and TXT (plain ascii text) files.

As an example, let's say you have a website with a footer that says:

"Copyright © 2004 TweakFS - All rights reserved"

And you wanted to update that to:

"Copyright © 2004-2005 TweakFS - All rights reserved"

TweakFS String Search & Replace can also be used to change the colours of your website (e.g. Replace "#2A2C37" with "#CC0022") or correct an outdated hyperlink or image url (e.g. Replace "/images/old_pic.jpg" with "/images/new_pic.jpg").

Select a file from the left and click the "Replace" button to search for and replace all instances of the string within the selected file. Click on the "Replace All" button to search for and replace all instances of the string within all the listed files in the current folder.

The "Confirm Before Replace" option will allow you to bail out should you choose to, with "Replace All" each individual file will be confirmed before opening it. To save your search strings for the next session select the "Save Search" option before exiting.

· Files are opened/closed so time stamps will be changed even if no search text is found
· The search and replace algorithm is NOT case-sensitive
· No replacement-by-replacement confirmation, all instances within file will be replaced
