VTK Export for Acrobat is a VTK file export add-on deigned for Acrobat Pro Extended. This plug-in gives Acrobat the ability to export objects from 3D PDF file in Acrobat to 3D polygon mesh objects in a Visualization Toolkit VTK file.

VTK Export for Acrobat tessellates objects in a 3D PDF into a set of triangular meshes. These meshes are then exported to a VTK file as mesh objects. The VTK file can then be imported into a variety of CAD applications.

VTK Export for Acrobat is very easy to use. Once installed, it automatically loads itself into Acrobat and adds a new menu called "VTKExport" to the Acrobat menu containing these newly added commands.

Note: This plug-in will work with Adobe Acrobat® 9 Pro Extended only.
