Data recovery of damaged discs
With LXclone data on damaged disc can be recovered easily. As long as a disc can turn the motor or move the heads, in most cases it will be recognized by the operating system. In this case you can create a 1:1 copy of the disc by LXclone, even if the data can no longer be read by the operating system!
In opposition to the most other cloning programmes, LXclone is able to handle tracks and sectors of the source drive which are no longer functional. By a special algorithm LXclone can create a 1:1 copy of the reasonably readable data on a other medium. With special options LXclone can adjust to a special situation and can optimize its performance. By the automatic sector recognition (option) even damaged discs can be cloned in almost normal speed.

NOTE: This is a commandline-tool for advanced administrative use and no Icon or any other link is present for it. For use open a Command Prompt-Window as described below and type the command with the appropriate arguments.
